Young Scientist Badge Scheme

Run by the Science Centre Singapore, the Young Scientist Badge Scheme is targeted at Primary School Students.

The objectives of the scheme are to:

  • Stimulate interest in science
  • Enable students to carry out self-directed activities in various disciplines of science
  • Provide opportunities for students to develop initiative and creativity

Courses

There are over 15 courses in areas such as Physicist, Chemist, Astronomer, Zoologist, Food Scientist, and Sustainability Champion. Each course requires students to complete a number of tasks such as reading and research, hands on activities, brainstorming, discussions, and short write ups.

Upon completion of each course, you will receive an online badge, a real badge, and a certificate.

Young Sustainability Champion

The Young Sustainability Champion is a program that helps students to learn about sustainable development and develop solutions for sustainability. The online program is free with the support of the Temasek Foundation.

Students who submit outstanding work will be given opportunities to attend workshops and bootcamps with attractive prizes and project funding available.
