Fluency in a second language is a valuable asset, and Changemakers Explorer has developed a distinctive Bilingual Drama Pedagogy to make this happen. 

Building on a proven strength in Chinese drama, the curriculum goes far beyond phonics. Through storytelling, role-play, and expressive communication, your child will learn to articulate ideas clearly and confidently in both English and Chinese.

Your child will truly internalize the Chinese language while simultaneously building creativity, teamwork, and collaboration skills. Together with their peers, children vote on play themes, write their own scripts, assign production roles, rehearse, create marketing materials, and perform for an audience - all in Chinese.

The philosophy is simple but powerful: children learn best when they're having fun, which leads to better language retention. When children enjoy the language, they naturally enjoy learning it.

The comprehensive REACH (Read Chinese at Home) programme and carefully selected digital tools further support vocabulary development and comprehension, while strengthening your connection with your child.

To further support language acquisition, the curriculum incorporates an AI-integrated learning approach. An AI-enabled Chinese pronunciation app scaffolds the learning experience by providing prompt feedback, encouraging children to speak Chinese with greater assurance.

‍Music and Movement (PG–K2): Rhythm-based activities support pre-language development, auditory processing, and executive function, the mental skills that help children plan, focus, and manage multiple tasks.

Cognitive Development (PG–N1): Strengthens focus, visual skills, and early logical thinking from a young age.

Outdoor and Sports Enrichment (N2–K2): Builds gross motor development, coordination, and physical confidence as children progress toward primary school readiness.

Empowering Independence: The “Zone-in-Zone” Experience

The learning environment was one aspect that really impressed us during our visit.

Changemakers Explorer believes that confidence flourishes when children are given the dedicated space and freedom to stretch their potential. 

To foster this, every classroom is built around a unique 'Zone-in-Zone' layout, offering children a world of discovery across five specialised spaces.

From the hands-on Maker Zone and Language Lab to the creative Art Den, Puzzle Den, and Tarata Play, each area is carefully set up to spark curiosity and learning.

This environment gives children the freedom to learn at their own pace while being gently stretched beyond what they thought possible.

Activities within each zone are developmentally differentiated, meaning your child isn't simply following a one-size-fits-all programme. They're engaging with tasks pitched at just the right level of challenge, enough to spark growth, but never enough to overwhelm.

Clear visual cues throughout the spaces guide children in carrying out activities independently, building confidence and a real sense of ownership over their learning.

The centres even have distinctive learning corners like Bouldering Walls and STEM Walls - spaces where learning becomes adventure.

Here’s how the five distinct zones cultivate success:

1. The Maker Zone

This is where young designers and builders come to life. Working within mini-zones, children engage with curated materials ranging from blocks for open-ended foundational work to magnetic tiles for spatial awareness.

LaQ construction toys are also featured to introduce structured creative engineering. This is a space that turns imagination into tangible structure.

2. Tarata Play

Using specialized Tarata Blocks from New Zealand, this zone invites children to experiment with balance and geometry. As children explore shapes and experiment with balance, they strengthen early numeracy skills while developing focus and cognitive flexibility.

And because building together requires planning, communication, and compromise, collaborative play in this zone naturally nurtures perseverance, emotional regulation, and the kind of executive function skills that serve children well beyond the classroom.

3. The Art Den

Creativity thrives when children are given both the space and the invitation to explore. Through dedicated activities like Zentangle drawing, watercolour painting, and yarn wrapping, alongside a rich variety of other art experiences, children are empowered to express ideas, experiment freely, and make artistic choices that reflect their unique perspectives.

4. The Language Lab

Through storytelling, AI-integrated games, character recognition, mini book-making, and more, children are immersed in rich, meaningful language experiences from the moment they step in.

Bilingual language use is naturally woven throughout, cultivating confident, curious communicators who find joy in language and meaning in every story they encounter.

5. The Puzzle Den

Mathematical thinking becomes joyful in this dynamic zone. Through puzzles, counting games, and patterning tasks, children engage deeply with numeracy concepts. Whether working individually or with peers, they develop the focus and problem-solving skills necessary to tackle mathematical challenges.

Nutritious Meals Included

You can rest assured that your child’s physical health is prioritized.

• Full-Day Programme: Breakfast, lunch, and tea break are provided.
• Health Promotion Board Standards: All meals strictly abide by the Healthy Meals in Pre-schools Programme (HMPP) criteria.
• Dietary Safety: All food is pork, lard, and beef-free. Menus are rotated weekly over a month to ensure variety.
