1. Singapore MOE School Holidays 2025

The academic calendar and Singapore school holidays for 2025 have not been released by MOE yet.

We will update the school holiday dates once they've been announced by MOE.

2. Scheduled School Holidays 2025

Youth Day: TBC

Day after National Day: TBC

Teachers' Day: TBC

Children's Day (for primary schools and primary sections of full schools only): TBC

3. PSLE Examination Periods

Parents with kids in Primary School will want to take note of the PSLE examination periods as students in Primary 1 to 5 could be given off from school during these periods.

For the PSLE Marking Exercise, all primary school students will be given the period off.

New Year's Day: 1 Jan (Wed)

Chinese New Year: 29-30 Jan (Wed-Thu)

Hari Raya Puasa: 31 Mar (Mon)

Good Friday: 18 Apr (Fri)

Labour Day: 1 May (Thu)

Vesak Day: 12 May (Mon)

Hari Raya Haji: 6 Jun (Fri)

National Day: 9 Aug (Sat)

Deepavali: 20 Oct (Mon)

Christmas Day: 25 Dec (Thu)

5. Long weekends and when to take leave

There are five 3-day long weekends in 2025:

  • Hari Raya Puasa: Mar 29-30 (Sat-Mon)
  • Good Friday: Apr 18-20 (Fri-Sun)
  • Vesak Day:  May 10-12 (Sat-Mon)
  • Hari Raya Haji: Jun 6-8 (Fri-Sun)
  • Deepavali: Oct 18-20 (Sat-Mon)

Here's where you can take leave for that extra long 4 or 5 day weekend:

  • Jan - New Year's Day, Chinese New Year
  • May - Labour Day
  • Dec - Christmas
