After touring the world BODI (Graham Hamilton) takes some time off and returns to his village.
When Bodi learns that the girl group, K-9, doesn't know who Angus Scattergood (Eddie Izzard) is, he is compelled to join the musical competition show, Battle the Beat, to inspire a new generation of rock stars.
But Bodi bites off more than he can chew getting involved with the TV show and loses sight of his goals becoming an over night TV personality sensation.
