The Defence Collective Festival is back for its second edition on 14 and 15 November 2026.
Singapore Discovery Centre, Singapore Navy Museum and Singapore Air Force Museum open their doors for a fun-filled weekend for families with hands-on activities, workshops and live performances.
Entry is free! You’ll just need to register online before you go.

This year's theme is "Singapore ▪ Resolution". Keeping Singapore safe takes many different people doing many different jobs, and this festival lets you try a few of those roles to see how we can all do our bit.

One minute you’re bandaging an injured teammate, and the next you’re steering a drone through a rescue course.

Each museum will focus on a part of Singapore’s defence:
We recommend setting aside at least two hours at each museum. If you’re planning to visit more than one museum, split them across both days, so you don’t have to rush.

General entry and plenty of activities are free at all three museums.
But if you want to do everything, you can pick up an Exclusive Passport. It costs $10 per person and can be used at any of the three museums on both festival days.

Each pass comes with:

Here’s an extra incentive. Each pass-only activity you finish earns you a stamp. Collect enough stamps and head to the DIY Booth, where you can decorate your tote with exclusive patches. It makes a great souvenir, and it’s a handy way to keep the little ones moving from one station to the next.
Note: Passes are non-refundable, and each person joining the pass-only stations will need their own wristband/pass. You’ll choose where to collect yours when you book online.

Best for: Families who want to settle into one place all day with maximum variety.
The Singapore Discovery Centre boasts the biggest line-up of free activities, making it the perfect home base for all ages.

Team Missions: At Buddy Aid & Casualty Relay, you learn how to bandage an injured friend and move them to safety.

Decode & Deduce has you cracking codes and following clues like an intelligence agent, and Signal Relay tests how well your team can pass a message down the line without it getting muddled.

For Kids Under 12: Little ones can run their own mini town as emergency responders in SDCity, or tackle the timed obstacles at the Mini Tactical Challenge.

Creative Downtime: For quieter moments, there's Bridge Building, Dream City Builder (a brick-building table), City Mise en Scene, where you assemble a mini version of the Singapore skyline, and the Community Art Wall, where each pledge becomes part of a large mural.

Live Stage: Catch live music and dance sets by school and community bands on the main stage.

SDC Gallery Experience: A scavenger-hunt walk through the permanent galleries exploring Singapore’s early defenders and the people building its future.

Target Lane Shooting: Test your aim and steady hand in a safe target range.

Best for: Gamers, puzzle lovers, and future navigators.
The Singapore Navy Museum's free line-up is a fun mix of games, crafts and a little bit of tech.
Giant Battleship: Team up for a supersized version of the classic naval strategy board game.

Digital Movement Arena: An active screen-based game where the whole family jumps and dodges incoming threats together.

Crafts & Keepsakes: Design your own naval insignia at the Navy Craft & Badge Making table, or drop by the AI Photobooth to print a digital portrait of your family decked out in naval dress whites.

Collective Builds: Share your ideas on keeping our seas safe at the Build Our Ship Together wall, or test concept ship designs at the Future Builder Corner.

SNM Gallery Experience: An escape-room-style riddle hunt through the Navy Museum’s gallery halls where you’ll need to follow clues to find the missing crew.

Reach & Rescue Drone Challenge: Fly a drone through an indoor obstacle course and drop emergency supply crates onto targets before time runs out.

Best for: Budding pilots, plane spotters, and aviation buffs.
If you have a little aviation fan at home, make this stop a priority.

Cockpit Action: Take the controls of a remote aircraft in Air Space Navigator, or try landing on a runway in the Flight Motion Simulator.

Mission Control: Plan safe flight paths and allocate fuel in the tactical game Wings of Strategy.

Makers' Corner: Custom-paint your own model jet at the Aircraft Design Lab, piece together an aviation-themed tile at the Mosaic Workshop, or pose for some fun family snaps at the Kids Uniform Try-On booth.

SAFM Gallery Experience: A guided sleuthing trail digging into the brains behind Singapore’s air defence network.

Air Supply Mission: Pick the right emergency supplies and balance payload weight and drop timing to deliver humanitarian aid without damaging precious cargo.

Parking may be limited at some locations, so public transport and the festival shuttles are your best best.
