The Singapore Oceanarium officially opened to the public on 24 July 2025, marking the debut of a world-class marine attraction that features over 100,000 marine animals.

Not just an aquarium, the Singapore Oceanarium is a purpose-built ocean institute designed to spark knowledge, love, and action for our seas.

With  22 distinct themed zones to explore, each offering unique insights into different aspects of marine life, guests can expect an immersive journey from shallow coastal waters to the deepest ocean trenches.

The Singapore Oceanarium features more than 22 themed zones, each offering unique insights into different aspects of marine life.

Expect an immersive journey into the wonders of the marine world.

Ocean Wonders 

Discover the hypnotic beauty of ancient sea jellies in one of the world’s largest Kreisel habitats, where light and motion bring evolution to life.

Ancient Waters 

Travel back in time to meet fearsome prehistoric sea creatures and uncover the living fossils that still dwell in our oceans today.

Singapore’s Coast

Explore the rich biodiversity of Singapore’s mangroves, where ingenious coastal species thrive in harmony with shifting tides.

Whale Fall and Seamount

A Whale Fall skeleton and immersive projection show illustrate the remarkable decomposition process of these giant creatures, and how this process creates a rich ecosystem that sustains deep sea life.

Drop of Water

A glowing dome reveals how tiny plankton power the ocean’s life from the very beginning.

Spirit of Exploration

Ocean Dreams Glamping Adventure

Ocean Dreams might just be the most epic sleepover experience in Singapore.

Imagine waking up to manta rays and sharks gliding literally outside your tent!

You'll sleep in a luxury tent (for 4 pax), pitched right next to the Oceanarium's enormous Open Ocean Tank, complete with air mattresses, and amenities like cosy pillows, power points, electric fans, and a snack basket.

Forget the crowds, as an Ocean Dreamer, you get after-hours access to explore the entire Oceanarium in peaceful silence.

You'll also enjoy exclusive guided tours and behind the scenes access to areas normally closed off to the public like the Aquarist's Lab.

We also got a rare chance to watch Manta Rays being fed up close from the top of the Open Ocean Tank.

This all-inclusive experience covers a delicious buffet dinner and breakfast.

Showers are shared but they are comfy, clean, and fully stocked.

At $1,800 per tent, it’s definitely a splurge - but our kids were still talking about it weeks later. Some experiences are just priceless.

There are only 10 Signature Tents per session (and 1 Deluxe Tent for 8 pax at $3,800) with limited sessions available.

So you'll need to book early if you want in!

You'll find handpicked apparel, educational toys, and books alongside sustainable products and seasonal collections.

The store features unique collaborations with local Singapore artists and brands, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that support conscious consumption.

How to get to the Singapore Oceanarium

Address: Singapore Oceanarium, 8 Sentosa Gateway, Resorts World Sentosa, 098269 Singapore

  • By Sentosa Express: Board from VivoCity Level 3 and alight at Resorts World Station.
  • By Public Bus: Take RWS 8 (stop outside the Forum, Sentosa) or Bus 123 (stop at Resorts World Sentosa).
  • By Intra-Island Bus: Ride Sentosa Bus A and alight at Basement 1, Resorts World Sentosa.
  • By Car: Drive to Resorts World Sentosa and park at Resorts World Basement Car Park, Basement 1.
  • By Taxi: Drop off at Resorts World Sentosa, near the Forum drop-off point, and follow signs to the Oceanarium.
  • On Foot: Walk from VivoCity via the Sentosa Boardwalk in about 15 minutes.
