Mandai Wildlife Reserve

Singapore's biggest indoor nature-themed playground where kids can go wild across 4 incredible zones

If you're tired of the same old indoor playground circuit, then Curiosity Cove at Mandai Wildlife Reserve is about to change your weekend plans.

Opening on 21 November 2025, Curiosity Cove introduces Singapore’s largest nature-inspired indoor playscape, designed especially for children aged 3 to 12.

This is not your average swings and slides situation.

Spanning a massive 4,600 square metres, this immersive world is built around one brilliant concept: encouraging little adventurers to move, explore, and play just like wild animals do.

Instead of traditional play structures, the entire playground is built around the way animals behave in the wild.

Little ones can climb, crawl, balance, hide, leap and discover, all while learning about wildlife through hands-on and digital experiences.

With over 32 multi-sensory touchpoints scattered throughout, your little ones can shake hanging vines to trigger lights and sounds, experiment with digital effects that respond to movement, and so much more.

It's sensory heaven that keeps curiosity, and tiny legs, moving for hours!

Four Wild Worlds to Explore

Curiosity Cove is split into four themed zones, each one transporting kids into a different real-world ecosystem.

Wetlands

Start your adventure in the Wetlands, following the Animal Waterway to discover how rivers connect creatures through nature.

The Reef Retreat is particularly magical as marine life comes alive beneath shimmering blue light, giving kids a glimpse into the underwater world without getting wet.

Forestlands

Forestlands is a lush escape inspired by the tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia.

Kids can climb onto the leafy nests on the 6-metre tall Orangutan Sleeping Platform (yes lounging like an Orangutan is officially encouraged here), or test your agility on the Giant Spiderweb suspended above the ground.

At the Microscopic Canopy, a motion-activated magnifier reveals the tiny creatures usually hidden from sight.

The Nesting area lets children experience the forest from an animal’s perspective, tucked into cosy corners.

There's also a dedicated play area for little adventurers under three and a nearby calm zone for when someone needs a breather.

Grasslands

Experience the rhythm of life on the African savannah, where food, water, and shelter are precious.

At Nature’s Theatre, learn how predators and prey rely on each other to keep the ecosystem balanced.

Try blending into your surroundings at Animal Camouflage, then join the Great Migration at the Watering Hole, a digital journey showing how herds gather in search of precious resources.

You can "drink" from a watering hole like a zebra here!

Another Calm Zone is available in this section.

Drylands

The final frontier takes you to the harsh desert environment, where adaptation is everything.

Climb to new heights on the Climber’s Rock, crawl through the twisting 27-metre long Giant Snake Belly, and venture into the Underground Galleries to see how creatures survive beneath the sand.

The Giant Ancient Root is a natural labyrinth showing how plants dig deep to find life-giving water. it's educational and adventure-packed.

Inclusive Play for Every Child

Here's what genuinely makes Curiosity Cove special: It's designed with every child in mind, regardless of neurotype or physical ability.

Two dedicated Calm Zones offer quiet retreats for kids who need to step away from stimulation and recharge.

Sensory kits are also available for loan to support individual comfort and sensory needs.

The toddler-safe zones ensure children under three have secure spaces to explore at their own pace. And the entire venue is wheelchair-friendly, making it truly accessible for all families.

Curiosity Cove doesn't just pay lip service to inclusivity. Accessibility is thoughtfully integrated into the design. Every child deserves to play, explore, and feel that rush of discovery, and Curiosity Cove delivers on that promise.
