Located in Choa Chu Kang, Qian Hu Fish Farm is one of the largest ornamental fish farms in Singapore.
Admission is free and you are allowed to roam around the farm at your own leisure.
Stroll around the farm and you'll be greeted with rows upon rows of tanks and pools of ornamental fish.
Qian Hu stocks thousands of fish varieties, making it a popular spot for aquarium enthusiasts.
There's just something therapeutic about watching fish swim freely in the water!
Families enjoy visiting too as kids never get tired of watching the fascinating fish on display.
In addition, there are lots of kids-friendly activities such as longkang fishing (drain fishing), fish feeding, fish spa, aquarium making, and farm tours.
Who knows, you may even be inspired enough to take home your own fish and aquarium after the visit!
If you grew up catching fishes in the neighbourhood's canals and streams, Qian Hu's longkang fishing area will let you relive the joy and excitement of this popular childhood activity.
Kids will have a lot of fun trying to catch the little fishes in this area which features pools of water that are made to look like a natural stream.
Includes a plastic fish tank and net to catch the fish.
You can also purchase some fish feed from the retail shop to feed the koi and turtles in the fish pond.
The pond is just next to the Longkang fishing area.
Treat your tired feet to a natural pedicure!
Soak your feet in the fish spa and watch as the Garra Rufa Fish nibble away at your dead skin cells, providing your feet with some natural exfoliation.
Make your own mini aquarium with the kids at Qian Hu's workshop area.
For $15 per pax, you get an apron, pet-home, stream pebbles, and tank decorations to make your own mini tank.
Fish is not included so you'll have to purchase them separately or catch some at the longkang fishing area!
The guided tour takes visitors through the farm where you'll learn more about the farm's unique fishes including where they are from and their natural habitats.
There's a retail shop here where you can get everything you need for your aquarium such as tanks, filtration, pumps, and feed.
Grab a snack at the cafe after a fun day out at Qian Hu Fish Farm.
You'll find an assortment of finger foods, snacks, and beverages.
