Located at Downtown East, PlayOn is a 13,800 sq ft indoor play park packed with more than 25 digital sports, interactive games, VR experiences, arcade attractions and gaming zones.

A single admission gives you two hours of unlimited play, so it’s basically nonstop action from the moment you walk in.
Get the whole family moving with a round of basketball, tennis, or cycling, or head over to the bowling lanes.

There's even a martial arts arena where you can throw your best punches.

The tennis station was one of the highlight for us. Real tennis balls come flying at you, and you'll need to hit them back for real.
Choose between training mode to warm up, or a full match where you rally against an on-screen opponent and battle it out point by point.

if you fancy a kickabout, there's also a futsal pitch where you and your friends can get a proper game going.

The Floor Is Lava is another hit with the kids. You'll be racing around the interactive floor trying not to "fall in," though fair warning: it's more tiring than it looks after a few rounds.

The archery station was another favourite, with arrows zipping across the room to hit the digital targets.

If you're looking for something faster paced, PlayOn has a range of arcade shooting games, including VR versions where you strap on a headset and get pulled right into the action.

There's also a solid lineup of racing and riding experiences, from jet skiing to snowboarding.

The racing simulator stands out in particular. The platform actually moves with you, so it really feels like you're throwing your car around a real race track.

This is where things get really immersive. There's a good selection of VR rides, from virtual roller coasters to magic carpet flights.
.webp)
We had to try the VR ride that spins you 360 degrees, and honestly it was more intense than some real theme park rides we’ve been on.
.webp)
There's also a free roaming area where you can battle through VR shooting missions.
.webp)
After all that running, racing and spinning VR, it's handy to have somewhere to slow things down.

You can rack up a game of pool, settle in for some PS5 gaming, or duck into one of the private gaming pods for a quieter moment before heading back out for more.

PlayOn caters to a wide range of ages, with everything from digital sports and interactive games to VR experiences and console gaming. That said, we feel that kids below 6 may not be able to fully appreciate the activities on offer here.
Tickets are available on site though advanced bookings are recommended during peak periods.
Go for comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move easily in. Bring along some water too, especially if you’re planning to hit up the more active stations.
