The 10-acre plot houses a vegetable farm, a food museum, a kitchen event space for workshops, a shop featuring seasonal produce and herbs, and the much loved Poison Ivy Bistro.
Its education and events arm, Bollywood Adventures, also organizes farm tours and activities on site such as paddy rice planting, holiday camps, and farm to table cooking workshops.
Explore the farm by following the trails which take you through plots of vegetables and fruit trees. The farm has hundreds of types of edible plants growing at any one time.
The produce is also planet-friendly, with no chemical fertilizers, pesticides, growth hormones, or genetic modifications.
Stroll through the tranquil setting of the farm and you'll feel the stresses of city life beginning to ebb away as you're surrounded by greenery in every direction.
It's getting harder to find such places in Singapore, so we really treasure places like Bollywood Farms.
We just love the rustic countryside feel!
Shade is hard to come by at the farm and it can get quite hot so make sure you dress appropriately.
A hat helps and ensure you have plenty of water on hand.
One of the highlights at the end of one of the trails is the Lotus Pond. It's one of the largest natural lotus ponds in Singapore!
The Earth Shop features organic produce and herbs from Bollywood Veggies as well as neighboring farms.
This is where you can purchase chemical-free bananas, papayas, edible leaves, flowers, local eggs, and other seasonal produce.
There are also delicious farm made items such as banana bread, tapioca chips, pandan kaya cake, and Sambal Chilli.
On the weekends , you can expect to find a larger selection of leafy greens, eggs, and fish.
Meanwhile In the plants section, you'll be able to purchase air purifying plants, organic fertilisers, and soil.
Helmed by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Lynn Ee, the Poison Ivy Bistro is a favorite with visitors and gets very crowded on the weekends!
The cafe serves up hearty farm to table cuisine, with a seasonal menu that uses ingredients from Bollywood Farms or sourced from farms in the Kranji Countryside and South East Asia.
Our favorites include the Nasi Lemak Platter, Warrior's Chicken Curry (hormone and anti-biotic free), and Bollywood Wings.
You won't want to miss the Chocolate Banana Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert as well.
The Lemongrass Tea and Aloe Vera Lime Coolers really hit the spot too after a hot day out at the farm!
Kids get to choose form a selection of kids meals too such as Fish and Chips, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Chicken Popcorn and Chips.
