Active Garden at Gardens by the Bay

Located at the Waterfront Promenade, the Active Garden features a musical instrument playground, a fitness area, and a fruit and vegetable cultivation plot, all set within the lush landscape of Gardens by the Bay.

You'll also find a pet friendly cafe, the Mylo's here.

Musical Playground

Kids will gravitate naturally to this area where an assortment of interesting outdoor musical instruments await for them to explore.

Bang on drums, play a tune on the xylophone, or strike on long pipes to see what kind of sounds you can make.

The instruments are from Freenotes Harmony Park and were originally developed by Grammy Award-winning musician Richard Cooke.

Sheet music is even provided so you can play simple tunes like Happy Birthday and Mary had a Little Lamb.

Fitness Area

While the kiddos are playing, mummy and daddy can squeeze in a good workout at the Fitness Area which is just next to the Musical Playground.

You'll find a variety of fitness stations here from pull up bars and exercise bikes, to fitness ladders and a balancing bridge.

There are even suspension and cross training machines where you'll be able to perform lots of different exercises to target different muscle groups across the body. We tried them out and they're certainly no walk in the park!

Mylo's

A pet friendly cafe, Mylo's offers fresh bakes and coffee, classic sarnies, refreshing drinks and over 20 seasonal gelatos made onsite.

Moongate Sculpture

Standing at 3.8m, the bronze Moongate Sculpture offers a stunning backdrop to the Active Garden.

You'll also get great views of the Singapore Flyer and Waterfront Promenade.

How to get to the Active Garden

The Active Garden is located along the Waterfront Promenade.

If you're driving, the nearest carpark is at Bayfront Plaza.

Just continue walking along Dragonfly Lake towards Bayfront Plaza and you'll reach the Active Garden.
