The GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE officially opens its doors on 3 Feb 2026, marking a milestone for the local fan community.

Located on level 4 of Jewel Changi Airport, this flagship retail store is a full-throttle brand experience designed to connect fans across Southeast Asia.

Whether you are a seasoned "pro-builder" with shelves of Master Grades or just starting out, here is everything you need to know about the new go-to spot for every Gundam fan.

What exactly is The GUNDAM BASE?

THE GUNDAM BASE is Bandai Namco's premier retail concept for all things Gundam plastic models (or Gunpla), offering fans access to exclusive products and an immersive brand experience that goes beyond traditional retail.

The vision for The GUNDAM BASE SINGAPORE is to create a home for the Gundam commonity in Southeast Asia.

This is where fans from Singapore and beyond can come together, share their passion, swap building tips, geek out over new releases, and celebrate everything we love about Gundam.

The Store

The first thing that greets us when entering the store is the 1.8 metre tall RX-78 Gundam statue in the Gundam Base colour.

It's the perfect first photo op before entering this Gundam paradise.

You can also snap photos with a large-scale blueprint of the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam.

The store features a dedicated workshop area for those who've always been curious about Gunpla building but don't know where to start.

On weekends, these model-building sessions are free to the public. Families are encouraged to join in, making this a great bonding event where parents and kids can build together!
